Transferring to Daikaiju High as a teen, Connie chafes a little at the repressed Japanese culture, but loves her "island neighbors" immensely; in turn, her gregarious nature, brilliant plumage, and penchant for flirting and casual nudity has made her one of the most popular K-Girls among the general Japanese population, a public relations dream Manda and Millenia have been praying for.

Connie also loves to fly, and this mutual love of the wild blue yonder has surprisingly brought her and the normally-overcompetitive Rhoda-Anne together in friendship, although Connie has voiced a desire to take their companionship further. In Zuki, however, she has found both kindred spirit and possible apprentice, despite having met when Zuki mistook Drew for a giant pigeon and bit her on the rear. Zuki idolizes Drew, much to Gigi's and Maisy's horror, and thinks she's "the coolest non-robot, non-lizard, non-bug girl alive!"

Connie has also become friends with Ebi, due to their similar backgrounds, but this hides a darker secret: shortly after being accepted at Daikaiju High, Connie was contacted by the Red Bamboo Army and pressured her into acting as a sort-of "sleeper agent" among the K-Girls. Her first orders are to re-secure the lobster girl for the organization, and while she is hesitant to obey, particularly because she genuinely likes Ebi, she feels powerless against them and unable to turns to anyone for help. Both Dizzy and Zoe are somewhat leery of her, but neither is certain why or that the other feels the same way.
