- Sidney was born when an stray crystal shard from one of Crystal's schoolyard fights burrowed deep into the earth. The combination of lava and the radiation from the shard gave birth to a new monster. Sidney soon ripped through the ground and began uncontrollably wreaking havoc until she was finally subdued by Neo-Monster Island's defense forces. At the urging of Daikaiju High's staff, she was allowed to stay at the school.
- Sidney is best described as a loner, keeping to herself, and avoiding conversation with the other monsters. However, she hangs out with Crystal at times, since not only does Sidney feed off of Crystal's cosmic radiation, but she also sees Crystal as a sort of "mother" figure (Sidney's earliest memory being the crystal shard that gave her life). Sidney has also become close friends with Laki, seeing as they were both created from Crystal's energy.
