Following a series of fights she with several human students while living in New York she was sent to Daikaiju High by order of the U.N., her former school not equipped to deal with what they called her “Condition”. Clovie was not happy with this new school arrangement having lived in New York most of her life, taken in by an Saint Mary’s orphanage after being found on the beach as a very young child. She has no knowledge of where she was born, but she never thinks too much on it. Once at Daikaiju High she was given an apartment just off campus, and started attending class the next day after a tour and lecture from the school’s head officials.

Clovie comes off somewhat blunt and bitchy to anyone she just met or doesn’t like, her New York accent only helping the bitch factor. However to those she has taken as friends she can be sweet and nice, which tends to throw people off that are use to her normal tough tomboy appearance and attitude. She has a soft spot for both swimming and baseball, always seen wearing a New York Yankees wristband, as well as wearing a Yankees hat while watching the games. She often takes part in amateur games when invited, as well as playing on the school’s team. When she roams the streets at night while walking her pet monstrosity Rex she carries her lucky bat, which is signed by all the current Yankees players.

At school her grades are average, but the things at school she really exceeds in the swim and baseball teams. Being voted MvP more than once, as well as getting the reputation of a pro player in disguise. She has a strange group of friends, her best friend being Giganna. Even Crystal is a friend to her, but tends to push her buttons by referring to her as “the orphan”. However no fights have ever broken out between them, leaving Kumi a little suspicious of their relationship. Also when mad she tends to throw whatever is in reach at who ever is bothering her, be it a rock, or a car. Her tolerance for pain and attack is also somewhat legendary around the school, surpassing that of most of the other girls, Sora often uses her as a sparring partner with no ill effects.
